How early should I arrive at AZA?
AZA is a much smaller airport than Sky Harbor. For Allegiant departures, a 90-minute arrival is usually enough: the TSA checkpoint is small, the walk to any gate is short, and there's no rail terminal or long inter-terminal walk. We tell first-time AZA travelers to plan for the airport itself like you would a regional airport, not like PHX.
That said, peak holiday weeks (Thanksgiving, Spring Break Friday afternoons, the Christmas/NYE corridor) can stretch the TSA queue at AZA out to 30+ minutes.
