Lake Havasu City to Wickenburg Shuttle

Check Rates

The private door‑to‑door shuttle connects the Colorado River community of Lake Havasu City — home to the iconic London Bridge, Lake Havasu State Park, and the Lake Havasu City Airport (LHS) — with the historic desert town of Wickenburg, where the Hassayampa River winds past the Vulture Mine and the Wickenburg Municipal Airport (E25) serves general aviation. The route follows AZ‑95 north out of Lake Havasu City, merges onto I‑40 east near Kingman, then climbs US‑93 through the Joshua Tree‑lined expanses of the Mojave before dropping into the rolling hills of Yavapai County toward Wickenburg’s downtown square.

Typical door‑to‑door drive time ranges from 133 to 183 minutes, covering roughly 98 miles in a straight line and a few extra miles on the highway network. Because the shuttle is private, the driver meets you at the exact address you provide — whether it’s a lakeside rental on McCulloch Boulevard, a hotel near the London Bridge, a ranch on the outskirts of Wickenburg, or either of the two municipal airports. The vehicle travels the most direct paved route, avoiding unnecessary detours through Phoenix unless a passenger specifically requests a stop there.

Luggage space accommodates standard suitcases, golf bags, and small recreational gear such as kayaks or bicycles when secured in the cargo area. Drivers are familiar with the seasonal traffic patterns on I‑40 — heavier in winter when snowbirds head south and lighter in summer — and adjust departure times accordingly. The shuttle operates year‑round, with no blackout dates for holidays or local events like the Wickenburg Gold Rush Days.

All drivers monitor commercial flight arrivals at Phoenix Sky Harbor and the two regional airports, so if your inbound flight is delayed the pickup time is shifted automatically. There is no fixed free‑wait window; the driver simply arrives when the updated landing time is confirmed.

How long does the trip usually take?

Expect between 2 hours 15 minutes and 3 hours 3 minutes door‑to‑door, depending on traffic and weather conditions on I‑40 and US‑93.

Can I be picked up at Lake Havasu City Airport?

Yes — the driver will meet you at the terminal curb or any address you specify in Lake Havasu City.

What happens if my flight into Phoenix is late?

We track the flight and move the pickup to match the new arrival time; the driver will be there when you land.

Route Overview: Lake Havasu City to Wickenburg

Check Rates

The journey from Lake Havasu City, Arizona, to the historic town of Wickenburg covers roughly 120 miles of desert and mountain scenery. Travelers typically follow a combination of Arizona State Route 95 (AZ‑95) north to Parker and then U.S. Route 60 (US‑60) west into Wickenburg. The route passes through sparse Sonoran desert, past the Bill Williams River, and near a string of small communities that have grown up around mining and ranching. Because the road is largely two‑lane highway, the drive offers sweeping views of distant mesas and occasional wildlife, making it as scenic as it is functional. For most drivers, the trip takes about two to two‑and‑a‑half hours under normal conditions, though weather and road work can extend travel time.

Driving Directions and Highway Details

Key Highways

The primary corridors for this route are AZ‑95 and US‑60, both maintained by the Arizona Department of Transportation (ADOT). AZ‑95 runs north–south along the Colorado River corridor, while US‑60 cuts west‑east across the high desert. Speed limits on these roads are generally 55–65 mph, but curves and occasional wildlife crossings call for attentive driving.

Step‑by‑Step Directions

  • Start in downtown Lake Havasu City, near the famous London Bridge.
  • Head north on AZ‑95 for approximately 30 miles, passing through the community of Lake Havasu City and the Havasu National Wildlife Refuge.
  • In Parker, transition onto US‑60 westbound. The interchange is clearly marked and offers a gas station right at the junction.
  • Continue west on US‑60 for roughly 90 miles, traveling through the towns of Bouse, Salome, and Hope.
  • Enter Wickenburg from the east on US‑60; the town’s historic downtown will appear on the left after crossing the Hassayampa River bridge.

Our Pickup Locations

Your Casa Grande shuttle picks up where it says Prearranged. If you are in a wheelchair, do not allow your attendant to leave you anywhere except Prearranged. The signs are easy to see and they are always at the outer curb. Sometimes security will send people to the wrong place, so it's better to follow the directions below. PHX also won't allow drivers to walk more than 15 feet away from their vehicle or wait, so good communication is essential. Turn on your cell phone and take it off of airplane mode, so your driver can call or text you. If you don't recognize the number, it's probably your driver.

Terminal 3 Prearranged is across the crosswalk from Door 6 and to the right, south side of the building.

Terminal 4 Prearranged is across the crosswalk from Door 3, north side of the building, first floor. The sign says "Prearranged Vehicles 3 NORTH".
