Our Daily Schedule
What is your daily schedule?
We pick you up on your schedule 24/7. Our professional drivers are normally 5-10 minutes early at your home, or right on time at PHX. You get to pick the time we pick you up.
What is my pickup time at the airport?
We normally pick you up 30 minutes after your plane lands for domestic flights, or 45 mins after for international flights.
What happens if my flight is delayed?
Pickup times automatically adjust to 30 minutes after you land if your flight is delayed for domestic flights, or 45 mins after you land for international flights.
What happens if my flight arrives early?
Call or send us a text if you want us to pick you up early, and we will let your driver know that you are ready to be picked up. Otherwise, we will pick you up at the scheduled time on your reservation.
How soon should I make a reservation?
Although there is no set rule that prevents you from booking last minute, it's a good idea to make your reservation as soon as possible to make sure a driver is available and prevent any delays.
How long does it take to go from Mesa or Nogales?
Trips to and from Nogales in normal traffic are about 2 hours and 45 minutes versus about 5 hours and 30 mins on the bus or a shuttle with a bunch of people. Rush hour will normally add 15-45 mins (30 mins on the average).
What time should I be picked up?
4 hours and 45 minutes before is normally enough time. PHX recommends you to be there 2 hours early to get through security and to your plane. Boarding usually starts 30 minutes before your plane takes off. However, one hour and thirty minutes is normally enough time. So if the drive from Nogales to Phoenix takes about 2 hours and 45 mins, then 4 and 45 mins before your flight takes off is normally good.
Our Better Drivers
Who are your drivers?
Most of our shuttle drivers have been driving professionally with the public for more than 10 years. They have excellent people skills and are usually very knowledgeable about the area (what to do, best restaurants, history and attractions). Some shuttle drivers are also professional tour guides that go to the Grand Canyon, Nogales, Phoenix, and many other destinations.
We have high standards for our shuttle drivers including safety, reliability and customer service. They are very helpful with bags. They get the door for you. Everyone goes through extensive background checks with Sky Harbor in order to pick up passengers.
We also train them by driving them through PHX, explaining all the rules, and showing them where to pick people up and drop people off.

Why Choose a Shuttle Service for Nogales, AZ?
Traveling between the Phoenix‑Mesa area and the historic border city of Nogales, Arizona, is convenient when you leave the driving to a professional shuttle. Shuttle services run on a fixed schedule, use the interstate highway system, and drop passengers at key locations such as downtown Nogales, the Nogales Port of Entry, and nearby towns along the corridor. By sharing a ride, you also reduce fuel costs and carbon footprint, making the trip more affordable and eco‑friendly (source: planetnogales.com).
Convenience and Comfort
Most shuttles are equipped with comfortable seating, climate control, and space for luggage, so you can relax during the roughly two‑hour journey. Drivers are familiar with the I‑19 corridor, which stretches from Tucson to Nogales, and they know the best times to avoid congestion near the border crossing. If you’re traveling from Mesa, you can board a shuttle that connects with the Phoenix‑Tucson leg of I‑10 before joining I‑19 southward, eliminating the need to navigate unfamiliar roads.
Cost‑Effective Travel
While exact fares vary by provider, a one‑way trip between Nogales and Tucson typically costs around $12 (estimate). This figure is based on publicly reported rates for office‑to‑office service (source: ari...). When you factor in parking fees at the airport, tolls, and wear on your vehicle, a shuttle can be a budget‑friendly alternative. Many operators also offer discount schemes, such as free rides after a certain number of paid trips, which further lower the per‑trip cost.
Top Shuttle Services Operating Between Nogales and Tucson
Several carriers serve the Nogales‑Tucson corridor, each with its own schedule, vehicle type, and loyalty program. Below is a brief overview of the three most frequently mentioned providers on local travel forums and business directories.
Ari’s Shuttles
Ari’s Shuttles provides direct office‑to‑office transport, making it popular with business travelers and tourists alike. Their fleet includes vans and mini‑buses that accommodate wheelchairs and pet carriers. The company’s website lists departure times from Tucson’s central hub and from Nogales’ downtown terminal, and it encourages passengers to reserve seats in advance (source: ari...).
Saguaro Shuttle
Saguaro Shuttle focuses on the leisure market, offering scenic routes that pass by the Santa Cruz River valley and the historic town of Patagonia. Their buses make limited stops, which speeds up the trip while still allowing passengers to board at major hotels and the Nogales Visitor Center. A notable perk is their “buy five, get one free” loyalty scheme, which rewards frequent riders (source: ari...).
Garcia’s Shuttles
Garcia’s Shuttles operates a network of routes that extend beyond Nogales to nearby towns such as Sahuarita and Green Valley. Their vehicles are known for spacious luggage compartments, making them a good choice for travelers carrying equipment or shopping from the border markets. Garcia’s also runs a “twelve‑trip” reward program, where every twelfth ride is complimentary (source: ari...).

How to Book Your Shuttle to Nogales
Online Reservations
Most shuttle companies provide an easy‑to‑use website where you can select your departure city, date, and time. Payment is typically handled via credit card at the time of booking, and a confirmation email is sent immediately. Booking online guarantees a seat, especially during holidays when demand spikes.
Phone Reservations
If you prefer human interaction, you can call the shuttle’s customer service line. The staff can help you choose the best route, answer questions about luggage limits, and inform you of any current promotions. Be prepared to provide your name, contact details, and the number of passengers.
Discount Cards and Loyalty Programs
To take advantage of the free‑ride incentives, you’ll need to obtain a discount card from the shuttle provider. For Saguaro Shuttle, the card is stamped after each paid ride, and after five rides the sixth is free. Garcia’s Shuttles issues a similar card; the twelfth ride is complimentary. Both programs require you to present the card before boarding, so keep it handy (source: ari...).
Additionally, the City of Tucson introduced a shuttle‑voucher program in early 2016 for individuals who have completed certain misdemeanor‑offense diversion programs. This initiative helps reduce the cost of transportation for those re‑entering the workforce, offering a practical example of how shuttle services can support the community (source: planetnogales.com).
Travel Tips for a Smooth Shuttle Ride
Plan Ahead for Border Crossings
The Nogales Port of Entry is a busy crossing point between the United States and Mexico. While shuttles do not cross into Mexico, they often stop near the border for customs‑related inspections. Allow an extra 15–30 minutes for any security checks, especially during peak travel times such as weekends and holidays.
Know the Pickup Points
In Tucson, common pickup spots include the Tucson International Airport, the downtown Transit Center, and major hotel districts. In Nogales, shuttles typically arrive at the downtown terminal on Terrace Street, close to the Santa Cruz County Courthouse and the historic Nogales Railway Depot. Some services also offer curbside pickup at the Nogales Visitor Center, which is handy if you’re arriving from the Mexican side of the border.
Accessibility and Special Needs
When booking, always inform the shuttle company if you require wheelchair access, have large luggage, or need a pet‑friendly vehicle. Companies such as Ari’s Shuttles and Garcia’s Shuttles have vans that can accommodate most mobility devices, but it’s best to confirm
