Peoria to Prescott Valley Shuttle

Check Rates

Airport Shuttle of Phoenix connects the northwest Phoenix suburb of Peoria with the growing high‑desert community of Prescott Valley. The trip follows Interstate 17 north from the Loop 101 corridor, passing the Deer Valley and Anthem areas before reaching the Cordes Junction interchange. From there the route continues west on Arizona State Route 69, skirting the historic town of Prescott and arriving in Prescott Valley near the Town Center and the Prescott Valley Event Center.

In Peoria, common pickup points include the Arrowhead Ranch and Vistancia master‑planned neighborhoods, the Peoria Sports Complex area, and addresses close to the Loop 101 / I‑10 interchange. In Prescott Valley, drop‑offs are frequently made at the Prescott Valley Crossing shopping district, the Yavapai Regional Medical Center campus, and residential streets around the Glassford Hill summit.

The straight‑line distance between the two cities is roughly 71 miles; the actual road mileage is a little higher because of the mountain pass on AZ‑69. Door‑to‑door drive time typically ranges from 97 to 133 minutes, depending on traffic through the Phoenix metro area and weather conditions on the Mogollon Rim.

Because the service is private, the driver meets you at the exact address you provide — whether that is a home, hotel, or office — and delivers you directly to your destination in Prescott Valley. The vehicles are equipped for the elevation change and the occasional winter storm that can affect the higher sections of AZ‑69.

If you are arriving on a flight at Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport, the driver can meet you at Terminal 3 or Terminal 4 after you claim baggage, then head straight onto I‑10 west to Loop 101 north and onto I‑17. We monitor incoming flights and adjust the pickup time accordingly.

How long does the trip take?

Expect a door‑to‑door journey of about 1½ to 2¼ hours, with the exact duration depending on peak‑hour traffic in the Phoenix valley and road conditions on the mountain segment.

Where will you pick me up in Peoria?

We pick up from any address you specify — residential streets, hotels, business parks, or the airport terminals — and confirm the exact location when you book.

What happens if my flight is delayed?

We track your flight in real time and will shift the pickup to match the new arrival time, so you are not left waiting at the terminal.

Why the Peoria–Prescott Valley Route Is Popular

Peoria, with a population of about 180,000 (U.S. Census, 2020), sits at an average elevation of 1,100 ft above sea level. Prescott Valley, by contrast, lies at roughly 5,100 ft, giving visitors a noticeable change in climate and scenery. The route links two rapidly growing communities in Yavapai County and serves as a vital corridor for commuters, tourists, and freight alike. Many travelers choose this route because it combines easy highway access with opportunities to explore attractions such as the historic town of Wickenburg, the natural beauty of the Hassayampa River Preserve, and the cultural hubs of downtown Prescott.

Driving Tips & Road Conditions

While the route is generally well‑maintained, several factors can affect your drive:

  • Seasonal Weather: Summer temperatures in Peoria can exceed 100 °F, while Prescott Valley stays 10–15 °F cooler due to its higher elevation. In winter, snow and ice can appear on AZ‑69 and US‑60, especially near the higher elevations of the Bradshaw Mountains. Check the National Weather Service forecast before you leave.
  • Construction Zones: ADOT regularly performs resurfacing on US‑60 between Wickenburg and Prescott. Lane closures are typically scheduled during off‑peak hours; the AZ511 app will alert you to any delays.
  • Wildlife Crossings: The stretch of US‑60 north of Yarnell passes through areas frequented by deer and javelina. Reduce speed at dusk and dawn to avoid collisions.
  • Fuel Stops: Gas stations are plentiful in Peoria and Wickenburg. For a more rural stretch between Wickenburg and Prescott, the towns of Congress and Prescott provide fuel options. Plan to fill up before leaving Wickenburg if you’re aiming for a non‑stop trip.

Our Pickup Locations

Your Casa Grande shuttle picks up where it says Prearranged. If you are in a wheelchair, do not allow your attendant to leave you anywhere except Prearranged. The signs are easy to see and they are always at the outer curb. Sometimes security will send people to the wrong place, so it's better to follow the directions below. PHX also won't allow drivers to walk more than 15 feet away from their vehicle or wait, so good communication is essential. Turn on your cell phone and take it off of airplane mode, so your driver can call or text you. If you don't recognize the number, it's probably your driver.

Terminal 3 Prearranged is across the crosswalk from Door 6 and to the right, south side of the building.

Terminal 4 Prearranged is across the crosswalk from Door 3, north side of the building, first floor. The sign says "Prearranged Vehicles 3 NORTH".
