Our Daily Schedule
What is your daily schedule?
We pick you up on your schedule 24/7. Our professional drivers are normally 5-10 minutes early at your home in Phoenix and Carefree, or right on time at Sky Harbor. You get to pick the time we pick you up.
What is my pickup time at the airport?
We normally pick you up 30 minutes after your plane lands for domestic flights, or 45 minutes after for international flights.
What happens if my flight is delayed?
Pickup times automatically adjust to 30 minutes after you land if your flight is delayed for domestic flights, or 45 minutes after you land for international flights.
What happens if my flight arrives early?
Call or send us a text if you want us to pick you up early, and we will let your driver know that you are ready to be picked up. Otherwise, we will pick you up at the scheduled time on your reservation.
How soon should I make a reservation?
Although there is no set rule that prevents you from booking a Phoenix to Carefree Shuttle last minute, it's a good idea to make your reservation as soon as possible to make sure a driver is available and prevent any delays.
How long does it take to go from Phoenix or Carefree?
Trips to and from Carefree in normal traffic are about forty minutes versus about one and a half hours on the bus or a shuttle with a bunch of people. Rush hour will normally add 15-45 minutes (30 minutes on the average).
What time should I be picked up?
2 hours and 15 minutes before is normally enough time. PHX recommends you to be there 2 hours early to get through security and to your plane. Boarding usually starts 30 minutes before your plane takes off. However, one hour and thirty minutes is normally enough time. So if the drive from Carefree to Phoenix takes about 40 minutes, then 2 hours and 15 minutes before your flight takes off is normally good.
Our Better Drivers
Who are your drivers?
Most of our shuttle drivers have been driving professionally with the public for more than 10 years. They have excellent people skills and are usually very knowledgeable about the area (what to do, best restaurants, history and attractions). Some of our drivers are also professional tour guides that go to the Grand Canyon, Carefree, Phoenix, and many other destinations.
We have high standards for our shuttle drivers including safety, reliability and customer service. Drivers are very helpful with bags. They get the door for you. All drivers go through extensive background checks with Sky Harbor in order to pick up passengers.
We also train them by driving them through PHX, explaining all the rules, and showing them where to pick people up and drop people off.
Our Great Company
With more than 100,000 customers and more than 5 years in business, Airport Shuttle of Phoenix owns Phoenix to Carefree Shuttle, and has drivers all over the State of Arizona. Our main office is 5 minutes from PHX in Phoenix, AZ.

. Output only raw HTML fragment, no wrapper. No commentary. Thus we need to craft a well-structured article with the following sections: maybe Overview, Route Options, Driving Directions, Public Transit Options, Shuttle Services, Cost Breakdown (with table), Scenic Stops, Tips, FAQ. Ensure each heading uses
and some
. Use or lists. Use . Use perhaps. Use inline citations (maybe with or footnotes). Use local detail: highway numbers: I-10, US-60, State Route 101, etc. Landmarks: Desert Ridge, Cave Creek, Scottsdale, McDowell Sonoran Preserve, etc. Real places: Biltmore Fashion Park? Actually Biltmore is in Phoenix. Could mention "Arizona State University" not near but maybe. Need to include actual cities/towns: Phoenix, Scottsdale, Paradise Valley, Carefree, Cave Creek, etc. Real landmarks: "McDowell Mountain", "Tom's Thumb", "The Biltmore", "Camelback Mountain". But need to be careful not to invent facts. But we can reference publicly known things, like "Camelback Mountain is a famous Phoenix hiking spot". That's not a fact we invented; it's common knowledge. However, need to not state inaccurate specifics like hours of operation unless we are sure. Safer to avoid specifics like opening hours. We must not invent statistics; we have the ones given: distance 16.69 miles, travel time 49 minutes (driving non-stop), gas cost estimate $5.83, CO2 emissions 26.27 lbs, 0.79 lbs per mile, average gas price $4.35 per gallon. Must present these as estimates, not exact. Must include them in the text. The article must be 1600 words. Need to approximate. Let's target ~1600 words. That is a lot of content. Let's break down. First,

Eighth, Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
with 5-7 Q&A. Make sure each section is fairly detailed, with multiple paragraphs, to reach total 1600 words. We can approximate each paragraph ~100-150 words. 10-12 paragraphs. Will include at least one table. Possibly include a comparison table of transportation modes: Driving, Shuttle, Rideshare, Public Transit. Columns: Travel time, Cost estimate, Convenience, Flexibility, etc. We need to be mindful of not using any invented numbers for cost beyond the gas cost estimate $5.83. We can say "estimated fuel cost for a typical 2.0L sedan". That's acceptable. We must not quote specific prices for shuttle services. Use "prices vary by provider". We must include citation for the public facts. Use inline citation style like (). But the instruction says "cite source inline where it adds trust". Could do something like (Source: MapQuest) after the fact. Probably fine. Need to not invent facts about average gas price; we have it as $4.35 per gallon used for calculation. We must also not include any meta tags or wrappers. Just raw HTML. Also must not include any planning notes or commentary. Let's draft the content. Start with . Will go paragraph by paragraph. Now count approximate words. Will draft around 1700 words then adjust. We need to ensure 1600 words. Let's aim for about 1700 to be safe. The requirement is target 1600 words, but they didn't say strict. Could be around that. We'll produce roughly 1650-1700. Now write the content in HTML, using headings, paragraphs, lists, table. Will embed the table for cost and emissions. Also another table for transportation comparison. Will incorporate local details: highway numbers: I-10, US-60 (also known as Superstition Freeway), SR-101 (Arizona 101 Loop), etc. Mention exits: Exit 147 for McDowell Rd? Actually the route: From downtown Phoenix, take I-10 north to US-60 east, then north on SR-101. Or alternative route: Take AZ-51 north to I-10 then to US-60 etc. But need to verify route: Phoenix to Carefree is 16.69 miles. Typically, you can take I-10 north to US-60 east to SR-101 north. Or you could take AZ-51 north to I-10. Provide options. Will mention landmarks: "Phoenix Art Museum", "Desert Ridge Marketplace", "McDowell Sonoran Preserve", "Cave Creek Museum", "The Biltmore". Will mention "Carefree" itself: known for its "Sculpture Garden", "Carefree Desert Gardens". Will mention "McDowell Mountain". Will mention "The Famous Town of Cave Creek". Will include "Travel tip: Check real-time traffic". Will mention that travel time can vary due to traffic; off-peak maybe 40 mins, peak maybe 1 hour. Will include "If you plan to stop for coffee, try Press Coffee in Scottsdale". Will include "Public transit: Valley Metro bus route 29 or 80". But ensure we don't invent facts about bus routes. I need to verify actual bus routes: Valley Metro route 29 runs along Camelback Rd. Not sure. But we can say "Valley Metro bus service connects Phoenix and Scottsdale, though direct service to Carefree is limited; you may need to transfer in Scottsdale". That's safe. Not invented specifics. Will mention "Rideshare services like Uber and Lyft operate in the area". Will mention "Shuttle services such as Green Efficient Transport, etc." But we can't name specific companies unless known. Better to avoid naming unknown companies. Could say "Several private shuttle companies offer pre‑booked rides". Will avoid invented names. Might mention "Arizona Shuttle Service" but not sure. Safer to use generic. Now ensure we don't invent any statistics. Only use provided stats. Will include in cost section: estimated fuel cost $5.83 for a 16.69 mile trip based on average gas price $4.35 per gallon. Provide formula: (distance / average mpg) * price per gallon. Assume average mpg 25 mpg. But they gave $5.83, maybe they used a different mpg (maybe 12 mpg?). Not needed. We'll just present the given $5.83 as estimate. Will mention CO2 emissions: 26.27 lbs per trip, 0.79 lbs per mile. Will present cost per mile maybe. Now for the comparison table: columns: Mode, Est. Travel Time, Cost Estimate (range), Pros, Cons. Rows: Driving, Private Shuttle, Rideshare (Uber/Lyft), Public Transit (Bus+Transfer), Cycling (maybe not realistic). Provide approximate travel times: driving ~49 min; shuttle may be 55-70 min; rideshare similar to driving; public transit could be 1.5-2 hrs; cycling ~1-1.5 hrs. Provide ranges. Now the FAQ: 5-7 Q&A. Potential Qs: 1. How far is Carefree from Phoenix? (Answer: 16.69 miles). 2. What is the fastest route? (Answer: I-10 to US-60 to SR-101). 3. How long does it take to drive? (Answer: about 49 minutes non‑stop, can be longer in traffic). 4. Are there public transportation options? (Answer: limited, you can take bus to Scottsdale then shuttle). 5. Can I take a shuttle directly? (Answer: Several companies offer pre‑scheduled shuttles, pricing varies). 6. What is the environmental impact? (Answer: about 26.27 lbs CO2). 7. Is it worth driving vs rideshare? (Provide considerations). Possibly more. Now we need to produce the HTML. Ensure headings:
