Our Daily Schedule
What is your daily schedule?
We pick you up on your schedule 24/7. Our professional drivers are normally 5-10 minutes early at your home, or right on time at the airport. You get to pick the time we pick you up.
What is my pickup time at the airport?
We normally pick you up 30 minutes after your plane lands for domestic flights, or 45 minutes after for international flights.
What happens if my flight is delayed?
Pickup times automatically adjust to 30 minutes after you land if your flight is delayed for domestic flights, or 45 minutes after you land for international flights.
What happens if my flight arrives early?
You can always call or send us a text if you want us to pick you up early, and we will let your driver know that you are ready to be picked up. Otherwise, we will pick you up at the scheduled time on your reservation.
How soon should I make a reservation?
Although there is no set rule that prevents you from booking last minute, it's a good idea to make your reservation as soon as possible to make sure a driver is available and prevent any delays.
How long does it take to go from Phoenix or Tempe? Need a Tempe-area ride to Sky Harbor? See our Phoenix airport shuttle page for door-to-door PHX service.
Trips to and from Tempe in normal traffic are about 10 minutes versus about 30 minutes on the bus or a shuttle with a bunch of people. Rush hour will normally add 15-45 minutes (30 minutes on the average). Heading there from Tempe? See our Guadalupe airport shuttle page for direct service.
What time should I be picked up?
2 hours before is normally enough time. The airport recommends you to be there 2 hours early to get through security and to your plane. Boarding usually starts 30 minutes before your plane takes off. However, one hour and thirty minutes is normally enough time. So if the drive from Tempe to Phoenix takes about 10 minutes, then 2 hours before your flight takes off is normally good. Heading there from Tempe? See our Sun Lakes airport shuttle page for direct service.
Our Better Drivers
Who are your drivers?
Most of our drivers are experienced, licensed professionals. They have excellent people skills and are usually very knowledgeable about the area (what to do, best restaurants, history and attractions). Some of our drivers are also professional tour guides that go to the Grand Canyon and many other destinations.
We have high standards for our drivers including safety, reliability and customer service. Drivers are very helpful with bags. They get the door for you. All drivers go through extensive background checks with the airport in order to pick up passengers.
We also train them by driving them through the airport, explaining all the rules, and showing them where to pick people up and drop people off.

Tempe to Phoenix: Distance, Drive Time, and Your Best Route
How far is Tempe from Phoenix? Downtown Tempe to downtown Phoenix is 10 to 12 miles by road — about a 15-minute drive in light traffic, growing to 35–40 minutes during weekday rush hours (roughly 7–9 a.m. and 4–6:30 p.m.) on I-10 W or the Loop 202. Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport sits even closer to most Tempe addresses: about 7 to 9 miles, typically a 12 to 15 minute drive via the AZ-202 Loop and SR 143.
- Private shuttle, door to door: flat-rate fares from $40, available 24/7, with flight tracking on every ride. Drivers normally arrive 5–10 minutes early for home pickups, and airport pickups are scheduled 30 minutes after domestic landings or 45 minutes after international ones.
- Driving yourself: take the AZ-202 Loop west and exit at SR 143 for Sky Harbor, or I-10 W for downtown Phoenix. The 202 corridor through Tempe is one of the Valley's busiest — a 2025 Maricopa Association of Governments study counted about 257,000 vehicles per day between Priest Drive and Loop 101, and found bottlenecks there can cut speeds to 27 mph and double travel time.
- Public transit: Valley Metro light rail runs from Tempe toward the 44th St/Washington station (roughly 25–40 minutes depending on your starting station), where the PHX Sky Train connects to the airline terminals; rail trips into downtown Phoenix take about 35–45 minutes.
Whichever way you go, note that Sky Harbor is closer to most of Tempe than downtown Phoenix is — so the real trip variable is usually time of day, not miles. Our flat-rate door-to-door shuttle removes both variables: one price from $40, scheduled around your flight, any hour.
