Tempe to Prescott Shuttle

Check Rates

Traveling between Tempe and Prescott means crossing the Sonoran Desert foothills and climbing into the pine‑covered mountains of central Arizona. The door‑to‑door ride follows Loop 202 east toward the I‑10 corridor, then continues west on I‑10 past the sprawling Phoenix metro area before turning north on State Route 89 into the historic mining town of Prescott. Along the way you pass the Arizona State University campus, the vibrant Mill Avenue district, and the wide‑open stretches of the Salt River Valley before the road climbs through the Bradshaw Mountains.

Typical drive time ranges from about 1 hour 50 minutes to 2 hours 35 minutes depending on traffic around the Loop 202 interchange and the I‑10 bottleneck near the Phoenix Sky Harbor terminals. The straight‑line distance is roughly 83 miles, while the road mileage is a little higher because of the freeway routing. A standard sedan accommodating one or two passengers is quoted around $166 one way, giving you a predictable cost for a private transfer.

Our drivers meet you at the exact address you provide — whether it’s a hotel on Rural Road, a residence near Tempe Town Lake, or the arrivals level of Terminal 3 or Terminal 4 at Sky Harbor. In Prescott the drop‑off can be at a downtown boutique hotel on Montezuma Street, a cabin near Watson Lake, or any private address you specify. The vehicle is a clean, late‑model sedan
