Our Daily Schedule
What is your daily schedule?
Browsing every corridor we cover? The full Phoenix airport shuttle service overview lists routes, rates and pickup times.
We pick you up on your schedule 24/7. Our professional drivers are normally 5-10 minutes early at your home, or right on time at the airport. You get to pick the time we pick you up.
What is my pickup time at the airport?
We normally pick you up 30 minutes after your plane lands for domestic flights, or 45 minutes after for international flights.
What happens if my flight is delayed?
Pickup times automatically adjust to 30 minutes after you land if your flight is delayed for domestic flights, or 45 minutes after you land for international flights.
What happens if my flight arrives early?
You can always call or send us a text if you want us to pick you up early, and we will let your driver know that you are ready to be picked up. Otherwise, we will pick you up at the scheduled time on your reservation.
How soon should I make a reservation?
Although there is no set rule that prevents you from booking last minute, it's a good idea to make your reservation as soon as possible to make sure a driver is available and prevent any delays.

Trips to and from Tolleson in normal traffic are about 25 minutes versus an hour on the bus or a shuttle with a bunch of people. Rush hour will normally add 15-45 minutes (30 minutes on the average).
What time should I be picked up?
2 hours before is normally enough time. The airport recommends you to be there 2 hours early to get through security and to your plane. Boarding usually starts 30 minutes before your plane takes off. However, one hour and thirty minutes is normally enough time. So if the drive from Tolleson to Phoenix takes about 25 minutes, then 2 hours before your flight takes off is normally good.
Our Better Drivers
Who are your drivers?
Most of our drivers are experienced, licensed professionals. They have excellent people skills and are usually very knowledgeable about the area (what to do, best restaurants, history and attractions). Some of our drivers are also professional tour guides that go to the Grand Canyon and many other destinations.
We have high standards for our drivers including safety, reliability and customer service. Drivers are very helpful with bags. They get the door for you. All drivers go through extensive background checks with the airport in order to pick up passengers.
We also train them by driving them through the airport, explaining all the rules, and showing them where to pick people up and drop people off.

Companies that do shared rides will try to pick you up an hour or two earlier, but they make no promises about when you will actually get to the airport. If you're on a tight schedule, the shared ride option with Arizona shuttle or the Greyhound is probably not a good idea. Extra stops and scheduling with other passengers can either make you too early or potentially late. Even with great drivers, passengers can be unpredictable and end up making everyone miss their flight.
Tolleson Shuttle Options at a Glance
Tolleson sits at the crossroads of Interstate 10 and 91st Avenue, which means West Valley riders have several ways to get where they're going — and they are not interchangeable. Some are subsidized rideshare codes issued by the City of Tolleson itself. Others are pre-booked, scheduled shuttles built for airport runs with luggage. Knowing which one fits your trip saves both time and money.
Here's the honest breakdown of what's available for a Tolleson shuttle or ride, who runs it, and what each option is actually good at.
| Option | How it works | Best for | Who to contact |
|---|---|---|---|
| City of Tolleson rideshare codes (Lyft / Uber) | The city issues a Lyft or Uber link or promo code that you apply in the app before you request the ride | Short local trips, errands, appointments inside the program's destination list | Tolleson Transit, transit@tolleson.az.gov or (623) 478-8758; codes 24/7 at transitcodes@tolleson.az.gov |
| Tolleson City Services trips | Rides to designated city buildings under the same code program, with a $0 base fare for the rider | City Hall business, library visits, senior center programs, police and court matters | Tolleson Transit, (623) 478-8758, Monday–Thursday |
| Tolleson Select Destinations trips | Rides to listed medical and partner locations using the same code process | Hospital visits, dialysis, lab work, behavioral health appointments | Tolleson Transit, (623) 478-8758 |
| Scheduled airport shuttle | Reserved in advance, door pickup, driver handles the bags, quoted before you book | Phoenix Sky Harbor flights, early departures, families and groups with luggage | Book through our Tolleson shuttle page |
| Standard rideshare without a code | You pay the app's live fare with no subsidy applied | Last-minute solo trips when no code is on hand | Lyft or Uber app |
| Valley Metro bus service | Fixed routes and fixed fares along the West Valley corridors | Daytime budget trips where a transfer is acceptable | Valley Metro |
What the City of Tolleson's Rideshare Program Actually Is
Tolleson launched its rideshare-based transit program on October 1, 2022. Rather than running its own fleet of buses, the city partners with Lyft and Uber and issues riders a link or promo code that discounts the trip at the app level. As the city explains it, the program is designed to give residents an affordable, on-demand way to reach work, medical appointments, and city services without waiting on a fixed route.
How the fare split works, according to the City of Tolleson's published program terms: the rider pays a $2.00 base fare, the city covers up to a $15.00 maximum, and for trips that cost more than $17.00, the rider pays the difference above that threshold. For Tolleson City Services trips, the rider's base fare drops to $0 while the same $15.00 city maximum and $17.00 threshold apply.
